Story: My father and mother fought with Alexander Nevsky against the Teutonic Knights on Lake Peipus in 1242. Luckily, we haven't had any more problems from our neighbors to the west! We have also had relatively no trouble from the Tartars who are ravaging the rest of the provinces at this time. We live on a small farm on the banks of the Velikaya River. We make our living by trapping and trading fur, antler and bone with neighboring towns. We also keep bees and work in textiles. My brother, Pavel, is entering the Mirozhsky Monastery soon to bring honor and blessings to our family. My hope is to find a nice, hard-working husband for whom I can cook.

As the Mistress of Robes, she and the sultan formed a close friendship and he eventually granted her freedom. She continued to work as a textile trader between the East and Suleiman's Harem until his death in 1566, afterwhich she converted to Islam, traveled to the East and married.

At that time we was in the hills of Scotland trading and teaching the Highland folk. I was attending a bardic competition when I was awe struck by a young Scotsman that sang like a bird, (being strangled). But he knew how to make everyone laugh and enjoy themselves. That next morning this brazen Scotsman approached our camp bearing foods (that he himself cooked) and an armload of pelts. Before I knew it, I was wed to him. By doing so, we had honored his traditions, but in doing so, he had to honor one of ours, I took his last name as mine. This caused an up-roar in their camp but the elders gave their blessings and all was well. Because I traveled around the known world with my parents, I possess clothing far every corner of the world, and have learned how to use knife, axe, spear, as well as a bow.
